Day 1Colombo to Varanasi
Fly via Delhi, transfer to Varanasi and settle in.
Day 2Sarnath
Dhamek Stupa area, Mulagandha Kuti Vihar and museum subject to opening; evening chanting or puja.
Day 3Varanasi to Bodh Gaya
Overland transfer with rest stops; evening orientation at the sacred precinct if timing permits.
Day 4Bodh Gaya observance
Mahabodhi Temple, Bodhi Tree, puja and selected seven-week sites.
Day 5Rajgir and Nalanda
Griddhakuta, Venuvana and Nalanda ruins, then continue toward the next overnight stop.
Day 6Kushinagar
Mahaparinirvana Temple, Ramabhar Stupa and Sri Lankan/Japanese temple sites.
Day 7Delhi
Transfer or flight toward Delhi; selected Buddhist relic or city visit subject to opening and flight time.
Day 8Return to Colombo
