Who we are
The company
Yaathra Holidays exists to take Sri Lankan travellers beyond the island: Dubai's skyline, Bangkok's temples, Kyoto in spring, Rome's basilicas and the Buddhist circuit of India, arranged end to end, so the only thing left to do is enjoy it.
Most of our travellers are going abroad for the first or second time. That shapes everything about how we work: we explain rather than assume, we put the visa file first because that is what actually stops people travelling, and we send someone from Colombo with the group so there is always a familiar face.
The name means journey. The bird in our mark is a “Y” in flight , freedom, forward motion, and the idea that a holiday should feel effortless from the moment you start dreaming about it.

A specialism, not a sideline
Pilgrimage travel
Buddhist circuit tours through India and Nepal, Catholic pilgrimages to Rome, the Vatican and Assisi, and Ramadan and Hajj-season arrangements. Temple protocol, meal arrangements and mobility needs are planned in from the start rather than accommodated afterwards.
